Attachments here are not just files to download. You can open them from the list, and PDFs can be joined into one.

1. Preview — read it without downloading
Press Preview in the list and the document opens in a new window. You do not have to download it, and the program that made it does not have to be installed on the machine you are reading from.
| Extension | Opens in | What you see |
|---|---|---|
| docx | Preview window | Paragraphs, tables and pictures as body text |
| hwpx | Preview window | Hangul documents, the same way |
| xlsx | Preview window | Sheets as tables — several sheets in order |
| pptx | Preview window | Slides in order |
| md | Preview window | Markdown rendered as formatted text |
| PDF window | With a page list — see section 2 |
Preview works on files already uploaded. A row you have not posted yet shows a faded button, and pressing it tells you why.
2. Merging PDFs — several documents into one
Useful when a document arrived in parts.
- Tick two or more PDFs in the Merge column. That column only appears on PDF rows.
- Press [Merge selected PDFs]. They are joined in the order you ticked them.
- You can set a file name and an open password. Leave the password empty for none.
- The result opens in a new window. There you can drop or rotate pages, and what you see is what you get.
Neither the merge nor the edit is saved. It is made for you to take away, and this post keeps its attachments as they are. Close the window and nothing has happened.
3. Two places to pick from
There are two jobs, so there are two places to pick. The left tick chooses what to download; the Merge column chooses what to join. If one control did both, ticking a file to download would switch merging on as well.
4. Worth knowing when you upload
- Up to 10 files · 100MB in total.
- [Post] uploads the attachments first, then saves the post.
- Attachments of a saved post show a padlock. Removing one goes through [Edit].
